PVCパイプと木でできた椅子。

PVCの適度な柔軟さと、パイプ形状の特徴を活かして、座面と背面の木に必要な加工を施し、接着剤やネジを使わずとも組み上げることができ、椅子として利用できるモノをデザインした。椅子としての部材を美しくジョイントさせることと、それによって、果たしてこの椅子が壊れる時に美しく壊れてしまうことのデザインを試みた。

Taking advantage of the moderate flexibility of PVC and the characteristics of the pipe shape, we designed a product that can be used as a chair by applying the necessary processing to the wood on the seat and back, and assembling it without using adhesives or screws. I tried to design the chair members to be beautifully jointed, and by doing so, the chair would break beautifully when it breaks.
